Looking around the web for disposable cameras can be confusing, and sometimes you don't know what websites you can trust. You'll find lots of websites that offer low prices for disposable wedding cameras but you never know if the cameras are going to be bad quality until you actually purchase them and hold them in your hands. Only then it may be too late or the websites return policy may not allow for you to return them.

One website to consider for purchasing disposable wedding cameras is ebay.com. You can view feedback from other buyers to gage whether or not you can trust the seller. Just browsing through the site I found a variety of sellers offering some nice disposable wedding cameras all for under $3.00.(including shipping!) This is a pretty good deal compared to wedding cameras for sale on a majority of other websites. A fun idea to do if you plan on having disposable wedding cameras at your wedding: Give a trusted friend the responsibility of collecting all of the disposable cameras at the end of your wedding day. Have that friend be in charge of developing the film while you and your husband are away on your honeymoon. This way, when you come back nice and rested from your honeymoon, your pictures will be ready and waiting for you! You can then have a small get together with close friends/family to gather around and relive your special day through the eyes of your guests.

Expiration date on Disposable Wedding Cameras

Hi again, I've heard from a friend that her order of disposable cameras came today and although they look great and the price was right, the expiration date is only 1 month away! Her wedding is 3 months away, so now she doesn't know if she should keep these wedding cameras or return them and order again. I recommended she call the company and ask them to take them back and send out a fresh batch.

So make sure before you order the cameras to check on the expiration dates! They maybe priced very cheaply because they are about to expire!

One idea a friend of mine is planning for her wedding is to give each member of her wedding party a disposable wedding camera before the wedding to capture as many candid photos they can. This way they can shoot photos at all of the pre-wedding activities - such as when the bride and groom getting ready at parents houses. Since the bride and groom are not usually together for those pre-wedding day activities, they will get to see all of the fun moments they would have missed without the disposable wedding cameras.

I think it's such a great idea giving disposable wedding cameras to all members of the wedding party....I can just imagine all of the candid photos I missed out on from the pre-wedding party that was going on at my husbands parents house. No one in my wedding party (especially the ushers) brought cameras with them....the thought didn't even cross their mind. I'm sure if I had given each one of them a disposable wedding camera I would have had many more great photos. Hopefully this post will save someone from missing out on theirs!

One thing you should do when using disposable wedding cameras at your wedding is have a drop off box at the exit at your wedding. This way, guests wont forget to give them back or accidentally take them home. Also, if they see the boxes as they are moving around the reception hall they will remember to be using them.

Finally, I think its a good idea to tell your entertainment person to announce multiple times throughout the evening that guests should use the cameras!!

I created this blog to make it easy for brides to find all the information you need to find the best wedding cameras for your special day. After many hours of researching the internet for my own disposable cameras for my own wedding, I want to share my findings and ideas of my own to help other brides to be in planning your wedding. I hope you find this information useful, and I'd also love to hear some ideas of yours!

Today I'd like to share an idea on how to actually use the disposable wedding cameras. Instead of just placing them on the table and hoping for the best, there are lots of creative ways you can help your guests take some memorable photos while also having a great time doing it.

One very common way is to give direction to your guests by using the "Table Tent". The card is placed on the table and usually has general instructions informing your guests what the disposable wedding cameras on the table are there for. The instructions usually say something like, "Use the camera on the table to take candid pictures of all our friends and family...the fun, the special moments, and of course those not to be forgotten shots. Pass the camera around, let everyone enjoy the fun. When all the pictures are taken, just leave the camera on the table." This is fine, but it might be too general and some tables may only snap a few shots and forget about it, leaving you with a few not so good photos.

I came across a great idea that worked great for my wedding. What I did was make a list of activities/things at the reception that I would love to have photos of. An example would be: a photo of each table of guests, a photo of the first dance, a photo of the cake cutting, a photo of the meal, etc. Then I made a specific list for each table and gave instructions for the guests at each table to make sure and get a shot of each activity/thing on my list. This actually can be an ice breaker for guests who dont really know one another. My guests loved it, I heard from many after the wedding talking about what a great idea it was and how much fun they had with it. I loved it too because I have all the photos I wanted, and some things that I didn't get a chance to see myself...like the meal!!:-) And having a photo of each table of guests was my favorite part....I never would have had that without the disposable wedding cameras.
